Senator Ensign stands in the way of housing relief

Senator John Ensign (R-NV) has done a fast turnaround: he's now pushing for renewable energy tax credits, something he's voted against several times before.

Sounds like he's seen the light... except that his support for the credits is in the form of an amendment to the housing crisis relief bill. The housing bill would help so many homeowners in Nevada. Ensign is playing politics but in a manner that's directly undermining his constituents.
