P.A.s in the news

The New York Times ran an article today on physician assistants and nurse practitioners and the differences between them. Both professions are growing rapidly as the U.S. population ages and our healthcare system works to reign in costs.

The NY Times Article was a refreshing look at the true worth of the PA profession and the fact that it IS very much different from the NP profession it is always lumped in with. PAs are true proponents of the team approach to medicine and continue to work closely with physicians to help reach our medically underserved populations throughout the U.S. Kudos to the Times for doing their research on this issue!
