Echelon on pause

Work on Echelon, a new hotel-casino under construction on the Vegas Strip, was halted earlier this week because of the slow economy and financing difficulties. And the huge MGM-Mirage City Center project is having difficulty raising the $3 billion in additional financing it needs to complete construction.
