"Copia" is Latin for "abundance," and this blog explores my belief that abundance is all around us. We live in a world of infinite possibilities,
and we have the ability to choose our own paths.
I write about a wide range of topics, and common themes are politics, civil liberties, health, the environment, and science.

It would be great to hear more about your experiences at the 1979 march, Michael.
I wish I could be there tomorrow!
It will be interesting to see what kind of press coverage this will receive. I hope it is substantial, in the manner in which the more contentious healthcare "tea parties" were covered.
I dream about the possibility of having a number of gay rights "tea-parties" in many cities around the country....but my guess is that, like tomorrow's march, the rallies will be reasoned, there will be no racist placards, or wingnuts carrying guns to intimidate others into accepting their points of view, and in any case they would not be "sensational" enough to warrant more than a cursory glance...
But I hope I'm wrong, and that the media will pay lots of attention tomorrow....
It will be an emotional day...
