McCain's top economic advisor says, "Avoid McCain's health plan!"
McCain's top economic advisor, Douglas Holtz-Eakin was once a reputable economist but now seems to just be an oracle of talking points.
He was on CNN yesterday and asked about the risk of young, healthy workers leaving their companies' health plans in order to take advantage of McCain's proposed $5000 credit for purchasing healthcare.
His response:
"Why would they leave?" he said. "What they are getting from their employer is way better than what they could get with the credit."
