16 years of the Dow

Let's look back at the Dow Jones Industrials average for the last sixteen years: 1992-2000, when Bill Clinton was president, and 2000-now, with George W. Bush.

When Clinton was sworn in, the Dow was trading at around 3200. When he left office, it was almost up to 11,000. Today it closed at 9325.

That's up about 243% for Clinton, and down about 15% for Bush.

Hmm. Those damn "socialists" in the Democratic party!
