Interview Sarah Palin now

I saw on The Daily Dish today that the McCain campaign may be keeping Sarah Palin under wraps for two weeks. So far she's made a few speeches, but apparently she's not ready to actually take questions.

Think about that: in January, Palin could be a proverbial heartbeat away from the presidency. While McCain, Obama, and Biden have been on the national stage for years, Palin is nearly unknown. While John, Barack, and Joe have been asking for the American people's respect and trust in this particular campaign for over a year and a half; McCain unveiled Palin to us just a week ago.

There are now less than two months until Election Day, and if Palin doesn't start giving interviews until two weeks from now, that would leave only about six weeks before we vote for our next president.

Is that adequate time to find out who Sarah Palin really is? Don't we deserve to know more about her experience, record, and positions on the major issues than we've learned so far?

Palin needs to start talking to reputable, responsible journalists now. Add your voice by signing my petition to that effect here. And if you sign, pass the petition on to your friends and family.
