Be careful what you vote for

Alaska has benefited greatly from the run-up in oil prices, and the state is running a large budget surplus. Nevertheless, Governor Sarah Palin cut the budget for programs that benefit, among others, teenage moms, by more than 20%.

She also opposed sex education.

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS also reported today that Palin has accepted campaign donations from the same organization that has gotten Alaska Senator Ted Stevens indicted, though there is no evidence that she broke the law.
