Unmanned surge

Wired magazine reports on the "unmanned surge" of small robots being used in Iraq for such tasks as clearing roadside bombs.

While they may be making roads safer to travel in the short term, this path we're getting on has long term risks. The task of killing is always easier when conducted remotely. Here's the old post which expresses my concerns.
