More pressure for fish

Ocean fish, already under pressure from overfishing, may have more trouble ahead: research confirms that warmer ocean waters hold less oxygen, reducing the area where fish can thrive.

And here's an article about efforts to protect fisheries in the Arctic before receding sea ice allows fishing fleets to gain access there.

And it may not be fashionable, but eating small fish is usually a better bet than eating their larger cousins. Fish species that are caught small are usually able to replenish their numbers faster. And since they are younger when caught and lower in the food chain, eating them results in less exposure to heavy metals like mercury.
