Laundry tip of the day

A week and a half ago I had a little mishap at the UNLV gym. I cut my head and used my clean gym towel to slow the blood flow.

When I got home, I thought I was doing the smart thing by treating the blood stains with Shout gel. Wrong. I washed the towel the next day, and the Shout permanently set the stain. I should have instead pre-treated with Tide.

Thank goodness I wasn't dealing with someone's Versace shirt! (An inside joke from 1995 :-)
