Michael Pollan on NPR's Science Friday

If you are interested in eating healthy and/or curious about how your food ends up on your plate, I highly recommend a couple of Michael Pollan's books, The Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food.

Pollan recently had an open letter to the next president in the New York Times. Today on NPR's Science Friday, he talks about how we can move from our current industrial-style of farming to a modern methods of polyculture farming that can work on the scale necessary to feed billions of people but with drastically reduced amounts of artificial fertilizer and pesticides.
