McCain once supported progressive taxes!

McCain and Palin are having a grand old time calling Obama's support for a progressive tax scheme "socialism."

Problem is... McCain defended progressive taxation eight years ago when he was last running for president. At an October 2000 townhall meeting, McCain said there was nothing wrong with people who have reached a certain comfort level paying more in taxes.
