John McCain has a new base

So get this: the McCain campaign reported an attendance of 6000 at McCain's morning rally in Defiance, Ohio. But it turns out that 4000 of the total were *school kids* that McCain had bussed in.

One person not in attendance (though McCain expected him): Joe the plumber (aka Sam the country-western singer).
