Mardi Gras down under

Today's is Sydney's 30th annual gay and lesbian Mardi Gras Parade and Party, and I'm jealous of all my friends who've made the trip this year.

I've been twice--2001 and 2002--and would love to go again. It's a beautiful city, and the festivities attract such a happy and fun crowd. Back when I went, the main party on Saturday night attracted around 25,000 people. Not sure what the count is these days...

So to all the folks I know who are there (Adelaide, Sammy, Brian, Bobby, Hoi, Flak, Peter), have a wonderful time!
